
The International League of Islamic Literature Malaysia Annual General Meeting 2026
The International League of Islamic Literature Malaysia conducted its 2026 Annual General Meeting on 27 February 2026 at 3:00 PM via Zoom, with members actively participating in discussions on the organization’s progress and future plans. The meeting, chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Anwar bin Ahmad, included presentations on the League’s 2025 activities, the introduction of a new website, logo, and membership system, as well as the selection of new board members. The AGM concluded with a closing speech by Chairman Prof. Dr. Rahmah binti Ahmad H. Osman.
GOMBAK, FEBRUARY 27 2026 - he International League of Islamic Literature Malaysia held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) for 2026 on 27 February 2026 at 3:00 PM via the Zoom platform, bringing together members from across the country to review the organization’s progress and discuss its future direction.
The meeting was chaired by the Secretary, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Anwar bin Ahmad, and witnessed active participation from members of the League. The AGM served as an important platform for members to reflect on the organization’s achievements and initiatives undertaken throughout 2025, including a presentation outlining the various events, programs, and literary activities conducted during the year.
Among the key highlights of the meeting was the selection of new board members, marking a significant step in strengthening the League’s leadership and governance for the coming term. In addition, members were introduced to several new developments aimed at enhancing the organization’s outreach and administrative efficiency. These included the presentation of the League’s newly developed website, the introduction of a new organizational logo, and the launch of a new membership system designed to streamline registration and engagement among members.
The session also provided an opportunity for members to raise and discuss various matters related to the League’s activities, future initiatives, and organizational development.
The AGM concluded with a closing address by the Chairman, Prof. Dr. Rahmah binti Ahmad H. Osman, who expressed her appreciation for the continued commitment and participation of the members. She also emphasized the importance of collaboration in further advancing the mission of the International League of Islamic Literature Malaysia in promoting Islamic literary scholarship and cultural engagement.
